Information you give us. What you type into our forms — typically your name, business name, email address, phone number, and details about your business such as trade, size or volume. We collect this because you asked us to get in touch.
Information collected automatically. Standard technical data your browser sends: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the site that referred you. If advertising or analytics tags are active, they may set cookies or similar identifiers to measure which ads and pages lead to enquiries.
We do not knowingly collect payment card numbers, government identifiers or health information through this website.
To respond to your enquiry and contact you about it; to provide and improve our services; to measure which marketing works; to keep records; and to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
We use service providers who handle data on our behalf under their own terms, including our website host and CDN, our form-delivery provider, our email provider, and — where enabled — analytics and advertising platforms. These providers may process data in the United States.
If you give us your phone number, you consent to calls and texts about your enquiry. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS at any time; reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies and standard message and data rates may apply.
We may keep a record of our correspondence with you so we have an accurate account of what was agreed.
We keep tracking to what we need to run and measure the site. Where advertising pixels or analytics are enabled, they may set cookies to attribute enquiries to campaigns. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most platforms offer their own opt-outs. Blocking cookies won't stop you using the site.
Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed for the purpose collected and for a reasonable period afterwards for business and legal record-keeping, then deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see below.
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Email hello@thestormline.com and we'll act on it promptly. We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights — for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act or, if you contact us from the UK or EU, under UK/EU data protection law. We honour those requests through the same email address.
Where call answering is active, we process caller phone numbers, recordings, transcripts and the details a caller gives — such as an address and a description of the job — so we can summarise the call and book work for our client.
Recordings and transcripts belong to the client whose line we answer; we hold them on that client's behalf and delete them on request or at the end of the engagement.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
This site is for business use and isn't directed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
We may update this policy. The effective date below shows the current version, and material changes will be reflected here.
